When mythical creatures go bump in the night, Special Unit 2 bumps back!

When the UPN Network started out it premiered a smart and funny series about a special unit of the Chicago Police Department that kept the mythical creatures, known as Links, in check.

The tongue-in-cheek humor is best expressed by their choice of underground informants... Carl, the garden gnome.

Like most UPN shows this program was overlooked by the public and was cancelled in the middle of it's stride. If you haven't seen it yet it is definitely worth a look. I gave this one 8-10 in the movies section of this site.

Supposedly I'd watched this one before but I don't remember (momsheimers). Since these dvds have been spinning, I've been watching. I don't want too. I have work to do but no, it pulls me in. The thing that's stealing things, the gnome with attitude, the dialogue (can be painful at times) that often sings with snark. It's odd. Very odd and that's what makes this a fun show to watch. Thumbs up!

Watching them right now. So far nothing bad to report, though it is very odd. Still, its usually a good thing. But we'll see...
