Fox has just aired a new television series based on the Terminator movies. It has a lot of potential (Which means Fox will probably cancel the series soon).

For the most part, the effects are better than the movies and the acting is quite passable. Summer Glau makes a kick-ass cyborg bodyguard to John Connor. One of her lines "We're back" is a tip of the hat to one of the most quoted lines from the original movie.

In the two part pilot we find that Sarah and John had changed the future, but not enough as someone else develops Skynet. So they must try again.

They create another paradox by time traveling 8 years into the future at which time we find out that Sarah had originally died two years ago.

Now there are more time traveling resistance fighters and terminator cyborgs in 2007.

If you are into scifi tv, the Sarah Connor Chronicles is one you will be sure not to miss.
