For all you Trekkies out there... a new Star Trek movie is slated for a 2008 release. Much of the storyline is shrouded in mystery but the general gist of it centers on the early days of James T. Kirk and his crew members.

Now, I have been a fan of Star Trek since I watched TOS (The Original Series) re-runs back in the early 1970's, and have followed the Star Trek universe through it's ups and downs.

The downs being Star Trek the Motion Picture, Star Trek Voyager and Star Trek Nemisis... the ups being TOS, Star Trek Wrath of Kahn and the masterpiece television series that was canceled prematurely... Star Trek Enterprise!

So here is to hoping this new addition to the Star Trek legacy really shines!

Enterprise a masterpiece??? You have got to be kidding! It was the WORST Trek series ever (though Voyager comes very close)!
