Man from where?Erik_Schubach   Posted: 2009-10-20 20:24:23   Updated: 2009-10-22 14:39:28

Rolling back the time machine to the 1970's there was a show starring Patric Duffy that had me glued to the television every week, the Man From Atlantis.

He was a mysterious man with gills and webbed hands and feet who had no memory who was found on a beach.

He solves mysteries as he hunts for the answers as to who he is. He has the ability to breath water and swim at an incredible rate. He possessed great strength in the water and got weaker the longer he was dry.

Even though the show doesn't hold up too well to today's standards, it was an iconic show of the time.

So why do I bring this show up over 30 years after it's inception? Warner Brothers has released the pilot episode on DVD as an exclusive on their Archive Collection website. Woohoo!!

So if you will excuse me, my copy just got delivered today and I'm going to run off to watch it now! If you want to see a show that was a sign of the times, order yours today.
