OK, for most of Robert Downey Jr's acting career I have despised his wooden acting and arrogant demeanor, but lately he has started to shine with characters that match his personality.
The first role that I sat up and took notice of was his portrayal of egotistical, rich playboy, Tony Stark in Iron Man... and now his performance in Sherlock Holmes was remarkable.
This re-imagining of Sherlock Holmes was great fun from start to end and the characters were as flawed as they were brilliant.
Both Sherlock and Watson were witty and intelligent with a splash of juvenile mischief. And the sets were simply amazing.
If you haven't had a chance to see this film yet, I would highly recommend the DVD. I give this film a solid 8-10.

I told ya! I loved this movie, and I'm a big Sherlock Holmes fan. There was a lot wrong, but there was even more right. Great movie...
